  1. Hello, I love the look of these slippers but have been unable to decipher the pattern. I am trying to knit the slippers for a size 5-7 woman's foot. The pattern calls for increases until there are 20 stitches. However it then goes on to say that you knit ten of those stitches, place ten on a holder and have a remaining ten for the upper left side. Since there are only 20 stitches how can I separate them in three and have 10 stitches for each section? Also do I cut the yarn and finish knitting the ten stitches for the upper left, before I continue the decreases and knit 19 rows? I am trying to knit these as a gift and thought they looked simple enough but now I find myself thoroughly confused. If you could please help me I would really appreciate it. Thank You.
